SOOO FRUSTRATED. I'm about to just huck my laptop out the window and yell "EFF YOU ENGLISH!". I'm getting no where on this essay. And what I have for an argument is completely sensory based meaning...it's a pointless argument. It's not strong at all. You can't base a thesis off of feeling. Especially when it's about a text. But! That's all my story I'm reading is all about! How pop-culture affects the expectancies of relationships to be this picture perfect bull-shit that doesn't actually exist! Like, frig! It's all told in Second Person so it draws the reader in and tells them what to feel. I DONT LIKE BEING TOLD WHAT TO FEEL. I think the ACTUAL narrater is a douche bag and should be shot for letting such an amazing guy go because she can't get over her self in order to see how great he is. Instead she goes striving for the rich guy who will make her 'happy' when in reality...HE'S MARRIED!
Everyone in a relationship, take a second look for goodness sakes! Don't let this media bullshit affect what you think about the person you love. Cause honestly, if you do...you deserve to be shot. Kay back to the essay. I can't simply base an argument off of feeling no matter how convincing it is since it will just be thrown away and be like "not everyone feels that way". Lmfao, btw. First line in the essay is pretty much "relationships are not perfect, all relationships have flaws unlike how the media represents it". Awesome ? I think so.
