Yeah definitely don't think I spelt the title right but w.e., I tried! Not my fault Deviantart doesn't have spell check lol.

Okay so, I was wondering...why is Nov.11 so commercialized now? Like, is this year some kind of anniversary or are they just trying to get people to get into it and respect the veterans and soldiers? I'm just wondering because I've never seen a commercial for it...Not that I have anything against it, I was just wondering.

So I bought my poppy! Mom didn't hit me this time so that's a bonus too. Hahaha last year, pelase note: I didn't know this was disrespectful, I kept my poppy from the previous year and re-wore it and my mom somehow knew...let's just say...my head hurt all day. I bought one though, I was going to! I just figured I could wear this one around until I bought a new one. Who knew finding a poppy around Cayuga was so hard!?

Anyway, so last night...Pooja ordered pizza and I answered the door and I was like "yeah let me get her," and I turned around to yell to her. But you see, because I took karate I step back weird...I set my foot behind me and switch my balance...it's hard to explain but my sister laughs at me everytime I turn around. Anyway, when I put my foot down...sure enough...something went right through it! I wanted to yell and cry sooo bad but I was like "Doors open, the Don is outside...I'm not yelling" so I ran away once Pooja came, hit the wall and fell onto the stairs. Roshni came running up to see why I ran into a wall this time and when I held up my foot she saw that there was a poppy lodged all the way into my heal! And she went to pull it out, but it wouldn't so she's like "I think we need to take you to the Henderson place" and I was like "NOOO" so Roshni was getting on her shoes to help me and Kayla comes out and she's like "kelly why are you laughing?" and Iw as like "IM NOOOTTT" and I showed her and she's like "HOLY SHIT YOU HAVE A POPPY IN YOUR FOOT!" and I looked and I was like "ugh, this is sooo disrespectful!" and she was like "yeah, your supposed to wear it on you heart...not your heal". So then I was like, I just gotta take it out...and Kayla watched me pull it out and was like gagging the entire time. Ughh hurt so much. And the next day I figured out it was stacey's cause she was like "has anyone seen my poppy?" and Kayla was like "yeah, in kelly's foot!" Not the best day of my life.

Stacey's officially awesome btw. She just gave me rocket candies. And she's just awesome in general. I like my roommate . She told me im not allowed switching schools cause it would upset her since she would be losing a friend. *cue "awww" moment" . Hahha it was cool. We told Kayla and she glared at me. So, im not switching out anymore. Cause my roommates are too awesome for that.

So that brings an end to this journal.
